AK-47 | Asiimov
Asiimov appears on three different rifles, and this AK-47 is a separate skin from both the Phoenix AWP and the Winter Offensive M4A4.
Wear bands this finish actually has
A skin gets its float once and keeps it, whatever you do with it in matches. The five wear names are labels for stretches of that number. Any single finish carries only those stretches that its own float window covers, so the rows below list what is possible here.
| Wear | Overlap | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Factory New | 0.05 – 0.07 | Listed wear |
| Minimal Wear | 0.07 – 0.15 | Listed wear |
| Field-Tested | 0.15 – 0.38 | Listed wear |
| Well-Worn | 0.38 – 0.45 | Listed wear |
| Battle-Scarred | 0.45 – 0.70 | Listed wear |
One paint family, three separate collections
Released 6 December 2018, this rifle shares its collection with the AWP Neo-Noir, namely The Danger Zone Collection. Two other guns use the Asiimov paint but come from different collections: the Phoenix AWP and the Winter Offensive M4A4. No trade-up connects the three.
From 0.05 up to 0.70, that is the full float range here. Factory New occupies just 0.05 to 0.07, while Battle-Scarred is the last wear, capped at 0.70. StatTrak copies can be found. It drops from the Danger Zone Case.
