AK-47 | Redline
Classified rarity from the Phoenix case, with a float floor of 0.10, so Minimal Wear is the cleanest copy that can exist.
Wear ranges for Redline
Float is assigned once and stays through every match. Wear names label ranges of that number, and Redline carries only those ranges its own float window reaches. The table lists them.
| Wear | Overlap | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Minimal Wear | 0.10 – 0.15 | Listed wear |
| Field-Tested | 0.15 – 0.38 | Listed wear |
| Well-Worn | 0.38 – 0.45 | Listed wear |
| Battle-Scarred | 0.45 – 0.70 | Listed wear |
The price driver is a thin Minimal Wear band
As the default AK pick, Redline brings a red and black racing stripe that stays attractive even at Field-Tested. It was released 20 February 2014 in The Phoenix Collection, which also holds the AWP Asiimov. Since the case is old, a weekly drop is not the source of new Redlines. Trade-ups and players reselling supply them.
No Factory New exists, because the float window is 0.10 to 0.70. Minimal Wear is confined to 0.10 to 0.15, and the narrowness of that slice is the reason MW commands several times the price of an ordinary Field-Tested copy. Value hunters usually target a low Field-Tested, roughly 0.15 to 0.18, since it resembles MW without costing as much.
Trade-up: where Redline leads
A Classified Redline feeds into the Phoenix covert, the AWP Asiimov. Because that skin's cap begins at 0.18, cleaning your inputs cannot produce a Factory New Asiimov. Before you burn MW Redlines as fodder, read the trade-up guide.
