AWP | Hyper Beast
Covert dated 26 May 2015, capped at a float of 0.50, so even its most worn copy stops short of the 1.00 that a full Battle-Scarred reaches.
Wear ranges up to 0.50
Float is fixed when a copy comes into being, whatever happens to it afterward. The labels from Factory New down cover stretches of that number, and Hyper Beast uses only those that sit under its cap. The table gives the overlap for each.
| Wear | Overlap | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Factory New | 0.00 – 0.07 | Listed wear |
| Minimal Wear | 0.07 – 0.15 | Listed wear |
| Field-Tested | 0.15 – 0.38 | Listed wear |
| Well-Worn | 0.38 – 0.45 | Listed wear |
| Battle-Scarred | 0.45 – 0.50 | Listed wear |
Five wears fit inside a 0.50 cap
The creature paint on Hyper Beast comes from The Falchion Collection. Float listings usually show 0.00 to 0.50, a span that still covers Well-Worn and the opening of Battle-Scarred. Trust the wear printed on the item rather than any claim that those wears 'do not exist.'
A busy design masks small float differences better than Printstream does. StatTrak versions exist. Resale, not the weekly drop, supplies copies, because the case is old.
Downside: anyone who wants a very beaten-up look has only 0.45 to 0.50 to choose from, since a copy at 1.00 does not exist.
