AWP | Oni Taiji
An operation covert from 2017. Its float stops at 0.50, so Battle-Scarred gets only the stretch from 0.45 to 0.50.
Wear ranges up to 0.50
A float never changes after a copy exists, however much it is used. Wear names label stretches of that number, and Oni Taiji carries the stretches that fit under its cap. The Overlap column below gives each one.
| Wear | Overlap | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Factory New | 0.00 – 0.07 | Listed wear |
| Minimal Wear | 0.07 – 0.15 | Listed wear |
| Field-Tested | 0.15 – 0.38 | Listed wear |
| Well-Worn | 0.38 – 0.45 | Listed wear |
| Battle-Scarred | 0.45 – 0.50 | Listed wear |
A 0.50 cap trims the worn end
Oni Taiji was released 23 May 2017 in The Operation Hydra Collection. A cap at 0.50 shortens the scratched end of the scale. Well-Worn covers 0.38 to 0.45 and Battle-Scarred just 0.45 to 0.50, while Field-Tested spans 0.15 to 0.38. Two Field-Tested copies at opposite ends can carry the same label and look quite different.
Gloves are the rare-slot result of the Operation Hydra Case. The AWP can be StatTrak. Hellfire, the M4A4 finish from that same collection, is a separate gun and not this sniper. Nothing past a float of 0.50 exists, whatever a listing claims.
Downside: with Battle-Scarred reaching only 0.50, a heavily worn Oni Taiji is not available. If you want that look, this skin cannot supply it.
