Operation Hydra Case: AWP Oni Taiji and gloves
Hydra, released 23 May 2017, holds the Oni Taiji covert and puts gloves in the rare special slot.
Oni Taiji, with gloves in gold
Gloves sit in the rare slot, a pattern that the Glove Case began in 2016 and later cases kept. The covert AWP here is Oni Taiji, capped at float 0.50, and the case is dated 23 May 2017.
Being an operation case does not mean the operation store is still open. Finishes that were already unboxed keep their floats.
The 0.26% rare slot, in short
Our take: the covert's name moves red and leaves gold alone. About 0.26% of openings in a regular weapon case reach the rare slot, and the odds guide lays out the wear ladder for every other result.
