Chroma 2 Case: the M4A1-S Hyper Beast, not the AWP
The M4A1-S Hyper Beast is the covert here, released 15 April 2015. The Falchion AWP version belongs to a different case.
Chroma 2 stands apart from the first Chroma
Chroma 2 came out on 15 April 2015. The original Chroma Case dates to January of that year and is another collection. The covert people search for in Chroma 2 is the M4A1-S Hyper Beast.
A month later the Falchion case brought the AWP Hyper Beast. Inputs from Chroma 2 will not trade up into it.
Gold stays with Doppler-style knife finishes. The name Chroma does not promise a Doppler Karambit, though. Which shape you roll depends on the knife list of that particular case.
The rare slot: 0.26% on a standard case
Expect the rare slot on about 0.26% of openings in a standard weapon case. Everything below it comes down to the wear ladder, which the odds guide walks through. Our take: a covert can be famous without making gold any likelier. It decides only what the red tier holds.
